How to Compare Prop Firm Platforms
Every vendor in this category will show you a feature list, and every feature list is broadly the same: dashboard, challenge engine, risk rules, KYC, payouts. Feature lists do not distinguish these products. Three things do — how the platform is paid for, how fast you can launch, and whether the price is published at all.

The providers, side by side
| Provider | Commercial model | Stated go-live | Pricing published? |
|---|---|---|---|
| PropsEngine | €7,500 one-time setup, then €2,000–€5,000/mo flat. No revenue share. | ~72 hours | Yes — full plans and setup fee are public |
| FPFX Tech / PropAccount | Revenue share. PropAccount WL1 leaves the operator 30% of gross revenue with payout risk, account costs and processing absorbed; WL2 is a net split, commonly 50/50 after expenses. | Quoted per engagement | No — custom quote |
| Trade Tech Solutions | No revenue share by default (a net-revenue-share deal is available on request). No monthly fee until launch. | ~7 days; migrations from another provider in ~48 hours | No — custom quote |
| Swiset | Not published. | Under 2 weeks | No — contact required |
| DXtrade (Devexperts) | SaaS or Enterprise licensing. A trading platform, not a turnkey prop firm. | ~2 weeks for the platform itself | No — custom quote |
The six questions that actually decide it
- 1
Do they take a share of revenue — now or at any tier?
Ask explicitly, and ask about every tier, not the one you are being shown. Revenue share costs almost nothing before you have traders and becomes the largest permanent claim on your P&L once you do. It can still be the right deal if the vendor is absorbing payout risk in exchange — that is a genuine transfer of risk, not just a fee. Price both structures over 24 months against your own projected evaluation revenue.
- 2
What exactly does 'go-live' mean in their number?
Seven days to a configured platform is not the same as seven days to taking payments from traders. Ask what is excluded: entity, payment processor approval, liquidity onboarding. On every platform in this category those are the real critical path, not the software.
- 3
Can you change challenge rules yourself?
If every drawdown adjustment is a support ticket, your rulebook iterates at the vendor's speed. Ask to see the admin panel doing it, not a slide about it.
- 4
Which drawdown models are supported?
Static, trailing on balance, and trailing on equity behave very differently and are the single biggest lever on your pass rate. A platform that only implements one has decided your economics for you.
- 5
Is it the whole business, or just the trading layer?
DXtrade is a trading platform with prop-firm features. The branded dashboard, KYC-gated payout flow, payout ledger and admin panel are a separate layer you either buy elsewhere or build. Know which you are buying before you compare prices.
- 6
What happens to your data if you leave?
Trader records, challenge state and payout history are what make a migration painful. Trade Tech Solutions advertises 48-hour migrations in, which tells you migrations out are a real thing that happens in this market. Ask about export before you sign, not after.
Where each one is the stronger choice
| Pick… | When |
|---|---|
| FPFX Tech / PropAccount | You want the longest track record in the category, and you would rather hand over payout risk, account costs and processing than carry them — accepting a revenue split as the price. |
| Trade Tech Solutions | You want an all-in-one stack with no revenue share and no monthly fee until launch, and a custom quote is not a problem. Their fast migration path also makes them a natural target if you are leaving another vendor. |
| Swiset | You are running brokerage and prop under one roof, or you want gamified competitions and social retention features as first-class parts of the platform. |
| DXtrade | You need equities, options, futures, ETFs or bonds. That constraint lives at the platform layer, and their multi-asset coverage is the widest here — but you still supply the prop-firm business layer. |
| PropsEngine | You want a price you can read before a sales call, a fixed cost that does not scale with your success, and the fastest path to live. MetaTrader 5 and liquidity provider wiring are inside the setup fee rather than scoped separately. |
Note that no revenue share is not unique to us — Trade Tech Solutions offers the same by default. The honest difference between us there is transparency and speed: our plans and setup fee are public, and go-live is measured in hours rather than a week.
What to do with this
- 1Write down your projected evaluation revenue at month 6, 12 and 24. Without it you cannot compare a revenue share against a subscription at all.
- 2Ask every shortlisted vendor the six questions above in writing.
- 3Demand a live admin panel walkthrough, specifically changing a drawdown rule and approving a payout.
- 4Ask what the exit looks like before you ask what the onboarding looks like.
Frequently asked questions
- Who are the main white-label prop firm technology providers?
- The established names are FPFX Tech (with its PropAccount white-label tiers), Trade Tech Solutions, Swiset and PropsEngine. DXtrade from Devexperts is often listed alongside them but is a trading platform rather than a turnkey prop firm business, and sits underneath several of the others.
- Which prop firm platform is cheapest?
- It depends entirely on volume. A revenue share costs almost nothing before you have traders and the most of any model once you do. A flat subscription is the reverse. Only two variables decide it: your projected evaluation revenue and whether you want the vendor carrying payout risk.
- How long does it take to launch on each platform?
- Publicly stated figures are roughly 72 hours for PropsEngine, around 7 days for Trade Tech Solutions, under 2 weeks for Swiset and about 2 weeks for the DXtrade platform itself. In practice entity formation, payment processor approval and liquidity onboarding usually take longer than any of these.
- Do any of them publish their pricing?
- PropsEngine publishes its full plan pricing and setup fee. FPFX Tech, Trade Tech Solutions and Swiset quote per firm, and DXtrade licenses per engagement.
