How PropsEngine collects, uses, and protects your information.
PropsEngine is a white-label infrastructure provider for proprietary trading firms. We supply the platform, technology, and operational tooling that enables our clients (prop firm operators) to run funded trader programs. This Privacy Policy applies to our marketing website (propsengine.com) and any account portal we operate directly.
We collect information you provide when you contact us, request a demo, or sign up for a plan. This includes your name, email address, company name, and payment details processed via our payment provider (Stripe). We also collect standard server logs and analytics data (pages visited, browser type, IP address) to understand how the site is used. We do not collect trading data from end traders — that data is managed by our clients on their own instances.
We use the information we collect to respond to enquiries and onboard new clients, process subscription payments, send transactional emails related to your account (invoices, platform updates, alerts), provide technical support, and improve our platform and website. We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.
We process your personal data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (when you subscribe to a plan), legitimate interests (responding to enquiries, improving our service, preventing fraud), and compliance with legal obligations where applicable. Where we rely on consent — for example, for optional marketing communications — you may withdraw that consent at any time.
We share data with a limited number of trusted sub-processors necessary to deliver our service: Stripe for payment processing, our hosting and cloud infrastructure providers, email delivery services for transactional messages, and analytics tools. All sub-processors are required to handle data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
We retain your account and billing data for the duration of your subscription and for up to 7 years thereafter as required for financial and tax compliance. Support correspondence is retained for 2 years. Analytics data is retained in aggregated, anonymised form indefinitely.
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; however, we take every reasonable step to protect your information.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, object to or restrict certain processing, and request a portable copy of your data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
Our website uses essential cookies required for basic functionality and analytics cookies to understand site usage. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them via our cookie banner. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where the changes are material, notify active clients by email. Continued use of our services after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
For any questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data, please contact us at [email protected].
